Our DNA
Sonoplasm is an electronic music project that creates ambient, techno soundtracks using the latest technology. Our music is characterized by its driving beats, lush soundscapes, and emotional depth. Sonoplasm is known for live performances. We create an immersive experience for their audience, using state-of-the-art visuals and sound systems. Our shows are often described as being "mind-blowing" and "otherworldly." We are constantly pushing the boundaries of electronic music and are not afraid to experiment with new sounds and styles. We are sure to continue to make waves in the years to come.
Our mission
To create innovative electronic music that inspires and energizes creative minds so they can get the endorphins they so desperately crave.
Our vision
New Music is important because culture must advance to survive. We can't just keep listening the same things over and over because that is bloody boring. So, composers are going to have to step up their game. The current musical milieu is similar to when the camera was invented and visual artists were forced to innovate. Composers who just faithfully imitate styles of the past and the work of others will not be in demand like before. Innovative, forward-thinking artists are needed to create new styles and genres. If this were to happen there could be an explosion of fascinating new music. Keep your ears open.
Our Alchemist

In the 1990s and 2000s, Lee earned his living as a media composer, writing film trailers for Cinemark Theaters, IMAX, and Crown Theaters. He also wrote hundreds of regional hit jingles for the likes of the Greensheet (Brings You Buyers), Joe's Crab Shack, Texas State Optical, Palais Royal, Merv Griffin and the Houston Chronicle. Since 2007, Lee has been the principal of the Luxury Trio jazz group, and he is also a respected music educator.
